In 1975 Trowbridge Amateur Operatic Society was formed, and since then has presented more than 70 shows.  Trowbridge Youth Theatre (TYT) was formed in 2007 as an opportunity for those between 11-24 to perform on stage.  In 2012 it was decided to update the society’s name to TAOS Musical Theatre to more accurately reflect the shows performed, and now we are linking ourselves more closely with the county town with the name

With an emphasis on fun, team work and a love for all things musical, Trowbridge Musical Theatre has grown into the talented, passionate and friendly society that it is today.

The Society normally produces two musical shows per year in May and November, usually at the Arc Theatre, Trowbridge, with other concerts and showcases.

On stage, behind the scenes or front of house, we are always keen to welcome new members.  If you would like to be involved please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you or if you just wish to enjoy our performances, tickets can be bought from the Current Production page.
